Yeryork corded snowblower tested and compared to Greenworks cordless and beat up a bit

I tried out this yeryork that was sent to me and finished by snowblowing a landmine of wood chips and chunks to see how it handled it. The Greenworks is a higher level single stage, but the only other one I had to compare. This Yeryork is $179, the Greenworks is $799 ($1128 with the extra battery).

It says on all our websites that this model has been discontinued (in Russia). You managed to get a good battery shovel cheap. Good work 👍👍👍👍
As an Operating Engineer I worked for a rigging company, and we installed 4 of the largest SOLAR gas turbine generators (Caterpillar Co) in NYC New Town Creek Water Treatment Plant. They were so big and heavy that we had to wait a month for permission to cross the George Washington Bridge. They were designed to run off gasses produced by the sewage, with zero emmisions. They will be used to run the Plant in the event of a power loss. I never heard them run. But better than that, I worked for the Surveyors that were measuring area 7 at Kennedy Airport, which was recently purchased (at the time) by Jet Blue. Jet Blue had already set up their repair shop, and had a 747 up in the air on stanchions about 50 feet high. The jet was running full thrust as the mechanics and other personnel went up and down the front stanchion to the cockpit. I had to use my Lull to remove manhole covers so that the Surveyors could measure the depth of the holes. This was the loudest noise I have ever heard in my life. (I used to go to the jet drag races all the time.) It was like Patti LaBelle put her hands to your ear and just screamed. (Yes, we had airport suppied hearing protection.) I was so glad to move on to another area. I didn't know that they could do that.

the 18" is ample for most folk. But I truly understand this and was impressed.
If you use 2 8ah with one 5ah the machine will die when the 5ah dies. You’d be better off just using 2 8ah batteries
It didn't seem to go that way for me. I have another video where I open the battery compartment up when I was done and there was 9% in the 5ah battery and 1% and 8% in the two 8ah batteries.
Great song
We had one of those running a Marathon generator....😂 What a beast...I wanted one. Engineer accidently dumped a full load on it, when the governor opened up, the rails on the floor ripped right out of the concrete....so much torque.
@firstjohn3123 wow! Good story👍👍
@reusefull FWIW, They kept warm water flowing from the boilers through the system at all times (ie...it was always preheated), as it was used as a backup genset for a hospital. It would fire & transfer over in 5 to 6 seconds ... That's a fast start for that engine ....
That saw actually cuts good
What what is the bar mound style for the greenworks 20" .325 .050? Can't get any answers from greenworks and looking to get a solid bar for milling. Thanks for you time
@swamproadbaskets it's unique to Greenworks. It will fit a Husky small mount/k095 oregon, but the bar has to be modified for proper oiling. I did a video on it a while ago. There is another user on here that used a stihl setup. I'll grab his name in another message

Not sure where I went wrong. I ordered the 3/8 24in Husqvarna x-tough bar with the CSX5000 and the chain is super loose and I cant tighten it anymore
@@letsgrownpaintball Is the bar 050 or 058?
I was just looking, the x-tough bar I saw was a large mount. The Ego matches up to a small mount husky/K095 Oregon tailstock.
@ its 050 thanks for the reply!! Could you recommend one for me?
@letsgrownpaintball if it's the right bar, it should work. As long as the tail stock is HSM, the bar should match up. If there's too much chain, maybe you need a shorter chain? The setup I used was a rancher bar and an 84dl 3/8 chain. It's hard to know without seeing all the pieces. Are you using the large 3/8 rim sprocket?
Would it be that loud if it were underground?
It is 3/8 pitch

Does the Milwaukee come with a 3/8 chain ? And does it use Husqvarna small bar ?
@@Thebankfisher it comes with an Oregon semi chisel .325... although it's the biggest tooth I've ever seen on a .325, it must be made for that saw specifically. The bar is a small mount Husky/Oregon K095.
And he doesn’t know how to square file.
Putting all those sawdust piles you make to good use! 😂
The chain it comes with may be slowest - but it's also the safest, smoothest, and most durable (hence Milwaukee went with that one.) The full chisel race matches what most 60-70cc gas saws find: 3/8 is usually faster than .325 thanks to the bigger teeth. At 40-50cc the .325 usually wins because the smaller teeth need less horsepower than the 3/8. Great video, like the editing!
@JamesCusano Thank you! The funny thing is, that .325 semi chisel is an Oregon chain, but it must be made for Milwaukee specifically... I've never seen cutters that big on a .325 chain. Usually there's a bigger difference between full chisel and semi chisel cut times of the same chain size.
Excellent work, you have now brought a noise ordinance airport to the quiet woodlands. All that will remain will be a bunch of hateful humans on the planet...yeesh
I generally suspect that all companies, whether Miluokee or Greenworks, have made cordless saws specifically with a pitch of 0.325, since it is a transitional option to a step of 3/8. It may also be a marketing ploy. It is no coincidence that they made a 1.3mm groove saw bar. I think we need to focus on stihl, he has already set the 3/8 step on the msa 300 in advance. He confidently knew that this was the Optimal power with optimal technical capabilities. Therefore, the new saws will already be equipped with a 3/8 pitch. Higher power, higher speed, higher torque. Above level 3/8, this is level 404. But that's the future... in theory.
I think the trade off is battery life. No question it cuts more wood, but I think it uses more battery. Kind of the same thought process as Greenworks recommending a 4ah battery for lighter weight but it won't power the saw properly.
@@reusefullI agree 👍
It's a very good test. Thank you. We have once again confirmed that it is better to use 3/8 chains. In Europe, a picco super (PS) low profile chain is very often used for a 1.3mm groove with a 3/8 pitch. Very convenient chain and high-speed. I also liked the oregon LPX 0.325 chain, aggressive entry and high-speed cut.
I have had good luck with Oregon chains in general. LGX for .325 and EXL or EXJ for 3/8
@Tihiroprjckuh9000 I'm going to have to give that picco super a try. I've really stayed away from Stihl entirely because it's like it's own whole world, but I will have to step into it eventually.
I understand you, I also opened the world on Oregon, Stihl has another secret weapon, the hexa chain with a hexagonal tooth (RH), which cuts even faster than the PS.
@Tihiroprjckuh9000 I've watched a few videos on that... definitely looks like something worth trying out.
👍👍👍
The c83 was optimized for high speed power saws ... It does well on my pipe Modded 60cc as well ...
@@Thebankfisher I think the C83 would be perfect for a 460 with an exhaust mod👍👍
Whare did you buy 3/8 sprocket for that chainsaw? This is a game changer. Pease do endurance test with 8amp and 12amp battery 3/8 Oregon cnain in hard wood. Thanks alot for this video ❤
Using what I believe is the sprocket from the top handle m18, I think it's for a 3/8 low profile, but it seems to do fine with the 3/8
On the bigger logging saws the c83 is a great chain...m electric doesn't have enough chain speed ...
@Thebankfisher I tested the C83, EXL and Frostbite chains on my 372xp and it liked the Oregon EXL the best. I agree about the speed... my Ego CSX5000 (99ft/s) and Greenworks 82CS34 liked the C83 the best out of the chains I just mentioned, but I think the EXL took too big of a bite for them to power through, where the Husky (and the Milwaukee) have the nut to pull it.
.325 full chisel not rare. But 3/8LP(3/8picco) is very rare full chisel chains and also very expensive. Sitihl picco super 8TEN Full chisel Among these chains only provided oil holes only Stihl Picco Super only. Some time Semi-Chisel not provided oil holes. But I more like Oregon 91VXL with oil holes withing oiling well and smart cutter. .325 best chain is full chisel Stihl 23RS. Hasqurvana C33 and Oregon 20LPX/LGX are slow than 23RS chains but not easily dull as Stihl RS. But 3/8 pitch 72EXL and C83 much more for this electric chainsaw. At that moment at these chainsaw C83 is very slow. But it my 572XP I used round filed fastest 3/8 chain is C83. I think X-Cut cutter load much more for this electric chainsaw. 2-3 times stopeed, well mentioned it. I seen comparion of this milwakee 36v 70cc vs MS500I (79.9cc) It is apple and orange comparison. Bcz 500i is almost won than 10 second. But Stihl MS 500i low power chainsaw at 80cc category, reason is 70cc 572xp and 73cc Stihl MS462C-M are powerful than 80cc 500i. Appreciate your bechmarks it worth for beginners.
@prtech7805 I found the EXL and Frostbite chains to be a little faster on my 372xp than the C83, but the Ego and Greenworks electric saw cut a little faster with the C83. The Milwaukee was more like the 372xp... faster with the EXL. I haven't tried any Stihl chains, I just haven't bought anything Stihl, but I probably will eventually.
I have a CS 2000. Can you run a 72 drive link even though it calls for a 69?
If you change the bar and drive spur, but it's more involved than it seems.
Husqvarna c83 is the best chain on the market
@@Thebankfisher I like the C83, but my experience has been that saw characteristics make different chains work better with different saws. I've seen C33, which I would really like to get my hands on, because I'll bet that would be a kicka$$ .325 chain.
New battery saw comparison on project farm, left out the latest models from Stihl and Husqvarna and no discussion of chains. Not a single mention of chains in comments. 😂
Project Farm is great for buying and using off the shelf for DIY people. This is for those that really use chainsaws and want a more in depth review so they can customize it to how or what they are cutting. Great video and thanks for showing the chains differences up close!
@ I agree, works for consumers. But some of the consumer stuff, feels like it’s designed to break and the customer service is awful and warranty is not real if you read it and replacement parts cost as much as the tool.
@datmayne I watched it, the thing that really bummed me out was that the DeWalt he used was their top model. If he used mid model for everything that would be a fair comparison, but price could've been a factor as well 🤷♂️
the guy does awesome work but that video was a bit of a miss from the whole community 😅
I was wondering how full chisel would perform. Thanks for sharing. Any chance you have some .325 .063 gauge chain available to test? It comes with .050 gauge but where I work the most common .325 is found in .063.
@@pproh608 I would have to find a bar to go with it, but I'll see what I can scrounge up.

Awesome and beautiful ❤ without ELECTRICIANS you are all USELESS
I don’t think most people really understand how difficult this can be, especially when starting that straight
Did you know if you reduce the 5 or 6 inch or whatever your using for your chimney down to about a 2 or 3 inch it will burn waaaaay hotter and get yourself a flat tray for your oil to flow onto it and place that pipe 2or 3 inch just above it leaving a 1/2 to 3/4 inch roughly above the oil that’s on fire. Don’t restrict the intake of it at all and see it preform then. Ha !! Ha !! And when you get her bucking try spitting into that tray and see what happens , craZy results !! “I am A-star , I am a robot, I can put my arm back on but you can’t so play safe “ !!
